Description
NIE Campus comprises the Research Center where researchers diagnose and predict shifts in the ecosystem following environmental changes, including climate change, to seek ways for adaptation as well as conduct studies to contribute to biological diversity through restoring damaged ecosystems, Ecological Education Center where faculty provides participatory research-based ecological education to enhance visitors’ understanding of ecological preservation, and Ecosystem Restoration Center where various projects are ongoing to restore damaged ecosystems and habitats of endangered species.

NIE Campus provides accommodation to resident students staying for ecological education as well as family visitors who visit for ecological experience, researchers, overseas visitors, and more.
The buildings feature eco-friendly architectural design and energy-saving elements, using eco-friendly exterior building materials considering the harmony with the surrounding environment.
Visitors can feel more comfortable staying here as it is surrounded by fruit trees, such as quinces, apricot trees, Japanese cornels, and more.
