Description
Eco Care Center is where endangered species are quarantined and protected from major infectious diseases, such as AI. It has two major functions.
First, it works as a shelter to protect animals that are vulnerable to disease outbreaks.
Second, it provides exhibitions and education to show the importance of the protection of endangered species and the prevention of disease outbreaks.

- Eco Care Center is a shelter for birds living in NIE upon occurrences of major infectious diseases, including AI. It is also a place to take care of globally endangered species confiscated after illegal transaction.
- Confiscated parrots are exhibited during the period without the outbreak of AI, drawing audience, together with various primates.
- Not only indoor space but also outdoor playground to bathe in sunshine are required for health of animals.
- Outside the center is an outdoor fenceless space called Gibbons Island for apes to feel comfortable in an open island-shaped space surrounded by flowing water that ensures visibility for audience.
