Description
CITES Sanctuary is a national facility for the protection of smuggled and trafficked CITES species.
It can house about 580 animals of a total of 140 species, including mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and more.
CITES species are tested for major diseases before being housed in the sanctuary, where their health and welfare are taken care of.
