    One-day ecology experiences

    These educational programs consist of themed activities related to school curricula.

    • Time: Offered on every Tuesday through Saturday, (AM) 10:00~12:00 / (PM) 13:30~15:30* Can select from 2-hour and 4-hour courses
    • Eligibility: Preschoolers and elementary/middle/high school students
    • Capacity: 30 people per class

    Ecology camp

    This educational program is designed to foster empathy and develop an ecological awareness through a variety of ecology activities.

    • Time: April through November / 12 sessions in total (2 days, 1 night: 11 sessions; 3 days, 2 nights: one session)
    • Eligibility: Elementary/middle/high school students
    • Capacity: 40 people per session

    Ecology career experience (in conjunction with the free semester system)

    This educational program is designed to explore careers in a variety of ecology-related fields.

    • Time: Tuesday through Friday, (AM) 10:00-12:00 / (PM) 13:30-15:30* Can select from 2-hour and 4-hour courses
    • Eligibility: Grades 4-6 in elementary school and middle and high school students
    • Capacity: 30 people per class

    Ecology career exploration camp (in conjunction with the free semester system)

    This educational program is designed to offer to the opportunity to experience various areas of ecology at the National Institute of Ecology and to explore ecology careers.

    • Time: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, April through December, (2-day/1-night course)
    • Eligibility: Grades 4-6 in elementary school and middle school students
    • Capacity: 40-80 people per session

    3-day/2-night curriculum available (in conjunction with the Seocheon Youth Center, National Marine Biodiversity Institute of Korea, etc.)

    Local-based ecology education

    This local-specific educational program, with the theme “Creatures of Land and Sea Are Our Friends,” is jointly conducted by the National Institute of Ecology, National Marine Biodiversity Institute of Korea and Seocheon-gun.

    • Time: Tuesdays at 10:00-17:30, March through November
    • Eligibility: Elementary/middle/high school students
    • Capacity: 30-40 people per class; up to 80 people a day
